A proud Chicagoan, Nykea has deep-seated roots throughout the city. These connections have given Nykea comprehensive knowledge of all things Chicago, making her an expert in the city’s unique neighborhoods and amenities. After graduating from Southern Illinois University with a degree in Marketing, Nykea spent 10 years in sales management. Nykea is an accomplished negotiator, and credits her extensive training in consultative and problem-solving techniques and her management background with providing her the skills she needs to advocate for her clients’ needs.

Nykea is passionate about real estate, and is actively involved in many organizations. She works tirelessly to promote initiatives that support property owners, and serves as the National Association of Realtors (NAR) appointed Federal Political Coordinator for the 1st Congressional District of Illinois. Nykea is also the 2018 President-Elect of the Women’s Council of Realtors Illinois (WCR). A graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI), Nykea holds the Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), Accredited Distressed Property Representative (ADPR), Broker Price Opinion Resource (BPOR), and Short Sale Foreclosure Representative (SRF) certifications. A licensed Managing Broker, Nykea believes in continued education and supporting other brokers, working as a continuing education instructor for the Chicago Association of Realtors. Nykea leverages her technology know-how as a contract trainer for the Midwest Real Estate Data (MRED). She also serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Realtors, Chicago Association of Realtors, and IDFPR Real Estate and Disciplinary Board.

While she’s very busy within the real estate community, Nykea always carves out time for rest and relaxation. This mom is always on the go, and loves to spend time with her family exploring Chicago’s hidden treasures. Nykea really cares about fitness, and always makes time to hit the gym. She’s also new to the city’s running scene, completing her first 5K in 2017!
